Family Interactive Talking Creatures Workshop
Wed 9 - Thu 10 April
Pervasive Media Studio, Watershed
This Easter break, we're excited to invite young people aged 8-14 and their guardians to join us for a workshop exploring ways we may communicate in the future by delving into crafting, sound, and interactive technologies.
The workshop will be hosted by Nat Whitney, an audio-visual participatory artist who was also one of our Winter Residency Artists. Come and get hands-on exploring sound and tech and investigating the sonic world around you through sampling and editing sounds, building noisy buttons from everyday materials, and building interactive talking creatures.
Please turn up at the start of the workshop at 10:00. The workshop is two and a half hours long but has regular breaks after each section.
Our family workshops are made possible with our partners in the Pervasive Media Studio, which are the University of Bristol and UWE Bristol.
