This Autumn we're inviting you to explore our special season of Sci-Fi themed films and events. As part of this year's Family Arts Festival (Sat 17 Oct - Sat 2 Nov), we've got a fun filled afternoon for families inspired by one of the greatest ever children's fantasies, Steven Spielberg's all time classic E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. The film, which is billed as one of the BFI's list of 50 films you should most definitely see by the age of 14, will screen throughout the last week of the October half term.
After the Sat 25 Oct 13:00 screening of E.T, we'll be transporting families to worlds unknown with an out of this world afternoon of arts and technology activities, brought to you by the inspired minds at our Pervasive Media Studio. At the event you can conjure up unique galaxy paintings with Elliott's inter-galactic bike, bring your own extraterrestrial creations to life at our space themed animation station, and make your own alien masks. There'll even be an E.T. dressing up box and some extra special intergalactic jelly!
Principally aimed at children aged 6 - 11 years old, younger and older siblings are still welcome to attend as part of a family group, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
Special film ticket price for this screening: £2.50 under 18s / £3.50 adults. Get your film tickets here!
