Druid Peak is a coming of age story with a conservation twist. Owen is a troubled teenage boy, a bully with a mean streak. When his actions lead to the accidental death of a friend, he is sent to live with his father, a biologist with Yellowstone's wolf reintroduction programme and begins tracking the wolves. His first close encounter with a Canadian gray wolf and the way the wolf holds his stare with its deep penetrating eyes stirs something long dead inside himself. Owen must decide how far he will go to protect the wolves, his father, and the place he has finally come to call home.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the Executive Producer Maureen Mayer and actress Lana Joffrey who plays Gillian.
