For The Young Childrens' Strand
Easter Eggs Live was a multi-platform live event broadcast from a specially built studio hatchery to capture the moment when creatures emerge from their eggs. Using live streaming on a specially built website and two live TV broadcasts on Channel Four over the Easter weekend, viewers were able to witness a vast range of species hatching, from emus and bearded dragons, to sharks and spiders. Launched a week before the main televised event, the Easter Eggs Live website allowed users to follow the drama unfold 24 hours a day, in a highly compelling cross-platform natural history experience.
