BBC at Encounters: The Future of Short-form Channels

Online platforms YouTube and Vimeo and the explosion in smartphone and tablet viewing has created a new opportunity for broadcasters and filmmakers alike. BBC Three's move online responds to this opportunity, and brings the BBC into the same space as other channels such as HuffPost, Buzzfeed and Vice.
This panel session with BBC Three's Max Gogarty provides an update on the themes, strategy and creative direction that will enable a more personalised and social form of digital broadcasting for the first time.
