Join us for a timely debate with a special panel of artists, academics and scientists for a public discussion on climate change, in advance of the world premiere of Deep Above at Watershed, a new short film by award-winning artist Adam Chodzko.

Deep Above explores the behavioural psychology of our apathetic response to climate change and our failure to transform our behaviour. We all know climate change is happening; we experience extreme weather conditions and observe the data, imagery and analysis as evidence, and ‘everyone’ seems to be talking about it. We appreciate, intellectually, climate change’s potential devastating impact on our planet and yet simultaneously we distance ourselves from feeling this danger, diverting our belief into fantasies that somehow, individually, we are impervious.
