Quiet and distant cop Dave (Daniel Wu) has his life thrown into disarray when he agrees to give a blood transfusion to a seriously injured man, who turns out to be Han, the leader of the Demon Gang, who use traditional masks when committing their crimes. Blamed by his colleagues for saving the life of a cop-killer, Dave finds himself cracking under the pressure when Han escapes, past traumas resurface, and the bodies of other gang members keep piling up.
