Light Years is a poetic and startling story of loss, hope and the deepest of human connections.

One hot summer’s day, Rose longs to see her mum but nobody will take her. Her father, struggling to cope, disappears to work, her sister waits to meet a boy on the local golf course and her brother is preoccupied at home communing with spirits online. This is the debut feature from BAFTA-award winning director and photographer Esther May Campbell starring acclaimed singer/songwriter Beth Orton.
