The highly acclaimed BBC series “The Hunt” approaches predation as never before, taking an intimate look at the remarkable strategies employed by hunters to catch their prey and the hunted to escape. Narrated by Sir David Attenborough, the new series comes from multi-Emmy®-winning executive producer Alastair Fothergill (The Blue Planet, Frozen Planet) and series producer Huw Cordey (South Pacific, Frozen Planet) — the makers of the landmark series Planet Earth, which captivated audiences around the world in over 130 countries. We travel the world in search of the top predators and discover rarely seen wildlife and animal behaviour: from hunting dogs' endless chases over the open plains to polar bears stalking seals out on breaking ice; from portia, nature’s smartest spider, that alters its hunting strategy depending on what prey it’s targeting, to the abdopus octopus, which, at low tide, walks across the ground to reach fish trapped in rock pools.
This screening will be followed by a Q&A with series producer Huw Cordey.
