Wildlife activists and investigators put their lives on the line to battle the illegal African ivory trade in this suspenseful on-the-ground documentary, executive-produced by Leonardo DiCaprio. Africa’s elephants are at major risk, more so today than ever before and the worldwide demand for ivory is causing havoc in the African bush.
Slowly the world is awakening to the problem, but is it too late? Academy Award nominee Kief Davidson and award-winning filmmaker Richard Ladkani have joined forces to direct a high profile, feature-length documentary on the plight of Africa’s elephants. Shot on location around the world, the filmmakers follow a number of remarkable heroes who have dedicated their lives to the honorable cause of saving the world's largest land mammal from extinction.
