Deep in the jungles of Peru, a silky anteater is fighting to stay awake and a mother humming bird is struggling to raise her chick. The seasonal downpours are about to begin and the rainforest's animals must strive to cope with the changing conditions. Through millions of years of evolution they have developed bizarre relationships and unexpected strategies to overcome them, but for all their ingenuity, they were never prepared for the arrival of a new species on the scene. In their first joint project three promising young filmmakers - Declan Burley, Tristan Thompson and Chris Butler - have created a film that records what could be the last moments of splendour in this incredible part of our planet.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker Tristan Thompson.
