Based on the bestselling bedtime book, written by Michael Rosen and illustrated by Helen Oxenbury, We’re Going on a Bear Hunt follows the intrepid adventures of siblings Stan, Katie, Rosie, Max, the baby and Rufus the dog, who set off on an expedition in search of bears, determined to ‘catch a big one’.

We're Going on a Bear Hunt was produced by Ruth Fielding and Camilla Deakin for Lupus Films, with Helen McAleer and Julia Posen as Executive Producers for Walker Productions, and Norton Herrick as Executive Producer for Herrick Entertainment. Joanna Harrison and Robin Shaw were the co-directors. The film was produced with the support of Creative Europe – MEDIA programme of the European Union and Universal Pictures.
