Reverberations and To Know Him are the latest films from Deaf directors Samuel Dore and Ted Evans. Join us for this special preview screening of two of the British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust’s most anticipated films.

Reverberations (PG)

In the dystopian future of 2167, a fascist Government using the latest advances in gene therapy has been eradicating Deafness to create a perfect society. A young Deaf time traveller ends up in the present day trying to find the inventor of the cure and change her mind before it’s too late.

To Know Him (12A)

Dir: Ted Evans, UK, 29mins

When a tragic accident leaves Sarah grieving for her Deaf partner Rob, she is forced to track down and engage with his estranged hearing father. To lay the man she loves to rest, Sarah must overcome a barrier far greater than language.

This screening will be subtitled and feature sign language. The introductions will include live speech to text transcription and a sign language interpreter. All of our cinema auditoria are fitted with induction loop systems.
