Please note: This event took place in Feb 2018
Join us for an afternoon of mindreader training - yep, you read that right...
Become one of 1000 Mindreaders, a year long collaborative artwork by former Watershed ‘Magician in Residence’ Stuart Nolan.
Learn the skill of muscle reading, which will enable you to sense the small subconscious movements of another person's hands. Using these newfound skills you will recreate drawings that another person is merely thinking of. You will also learn how to find objects that have been hidden in a room or building by someone else.
The drawings created at the workshop and the found objects will become part of a larger exhibition that will open in 2019. As a trainee mindreader you will also be offered the opportunity to demonstrate your new skills to audiences at a series of performances throughout 2018 and 2019.
All are welcome, however this event is most suitable for those over 12 years of age and is FREE - you can book tickets online.
One Thousand Mindreaders is run by friend and collaborator of Watershed’s Pervasive Media Studio, Stuart Nolan.
The Pervasive Media Studio is a collaboration between Watershed, University of Bristol and University of West of England.
