Bristol Palestine Film Festival returns for another year to share powerful Palestinian stories through film, at six venues across the city, including Watershed. The festival takes place Fri 2 - Sun 11 Dec (with our screenings taking place Thu 8 - Sun 11 Dec) and includes a mix of shorts, features and documentaries, showcasing the best of Palestinian cinema today.

At Watershed you'll be able to look forward to which is a gentle drama about an unlikely friendship called Mediterranean Fever, the feminist thriller Huda's Salon which is based on true events, and the powerful documentary Eleven Days in May about the children who lost their lives during an Israeli bombing attack in 2021.

For 11 days in May 2021, Gaza was bombed by Israel, which resulted in over 260 fatalities – at least 67 were children. Through a collection of interviews, co-directors Mohammed Sawwaf and Michael Winterbottom portray the individual loss and sorrow of families and friends who lost their children in the bombing.

Huda’s Salon
