Queer Vision Film Festival 2024

Queer Vision Film Festival, presented by Bristol Pride, delivers a diverse programme of UK and International LGBT+ films including independently-made feature and short films.
Now in their 12th year of celebrating LGBT+ cinema, the festival believes in the importance of seeing the queer identity reflected on screen and the power of film for social change. Highlights of this years festival include the celebratory South Korean drama Peafowl, a tongue-in-cheek look into top surgery in TOPS, some incredible shorts from the South West, and a preview screening of Elliot Page's new film Close To You.
The festival holds regular events and activities all year round, as well as the main festival during Bristol Pride, with the aim to create a community of queer film lovers.

Deaf Conversations About Cinema: Close To You
Queer VisionJoin us at the 18:00 screening of the closing night film of this year's Queer Vision Festival on Fri 12 July, which will feature Descriptive Subtitles and an introduction from Harriet Taylor, Queer Vision Festival Producer. This will be followed at 20:00 by a post screening discussion in the Café & Bar with audience members and Harriet that will feature BSL interpretation.
