My name is Lloyd Wilson and I’m talking to you from the year 2017.

I’m a professional drummer in a band called the Red Flags which we named after my favourite football team – Bristol City.

I was born in Hartcliffe which is in South Bristol. Here’s a picture of my house. And this is my brother Lawrence – he used to play the drums too but I took over when he gave up.

When I first saw my brother play the drums I really wanted to get into it myself.

I started out playing at the local youth centre and soon got pretty good. I begged my mum for a set of drums but she said they were a bit too expensive and made too much noise.

My first single was called ‘Waiting for the Time’ – here you can see me recording the drums, but of course that was a long time ago. Over the past 10 years I’ve had five number one singles and three number one albums. I’ve toured all over the world playing at shows in front of thousands of people. I’ve mingled with the rich and famous and had several celebrity girlfriends.

I guess you could say I’ve got it, and it’s all because of my brother, Hareclive Youth Club and a community called Hartcliffe.
