No two weeks are the same but the walk to work doesn’t change
I’m very lucky to have a walk which remains interesting and beautiful regardless of the weather. The walk gives me a chance to prepare for the day ahead – what I have to do, where I’ll be and sit, who will I be with, how will I get there, how many cups of tea I’ll have and if the office dog will play.
one Monday this month I wasn’t in the office but back at Warwick Business School where I have been studying for a post grad in local government management for the last 2 years. Along with the other 40 people in my cohort we went back to graduate and have a bit of a party
back at work I get to travel about the city - I am responsible for residential, nursing and home care - keeping older people safe by commissioning and moniotirng services rather than daily contact with induviduals.
at this time of year it’s getting dark by the time I leave the office. walking home I start by thinking about what I’ve done that do and what I need to finish off but by the time I get back I’ve switched to planning my evening’s entertainement and once I get paid I can focus on hobbies.
