The Museum of Bristol ran a project called Roman Roots in which young people investigated the ruins of a Roman villa in Lawrence Weston. This workshop marked the culmination of the project, and the stories incorporate what was learnt and the activities involved in the project.

Hello this is DR Loo and Lav reporting from the Turdis on a resent adventure.
We accidently got stuck on the same location as last time at the Kingsweston Roman Villa site where we had ran in to a group of young people.
We went to talk with them and they told us about what they were doing.
They were telling me and Lav that they have been doing a fasinating project on the romans.
The project will help to make bristol a better place and help the people of bristol to understand about their past roman visitors.
We were shocked to discover that people so young were interested in their past history.
Their project was called The Roman roots project.
They told us that they have been working with groups of young people and also with the bristol city museum.
We were really interested.
Lav wanted to learn more about the romans so we decided that we should travel on some other roman adventures of with our new friends.
We learnt many new things, like their strange foods and their habits and also other ways they lived.
I also found the origin of my sonic loo brush which came from a sponge on a stick.
Lav had just as many interesting things to tell the group about the future.
But the one problem was where in history would we travel next?
