My name is Jess. My name’s Chloe. We’re both 14 and from Southmead and we’re best friends.
We’ve been friends for 10 years and we live next door to each other.
I remember the day when Chloe first moved in and I asked if she wanted to play with me and we became friends.
We’re both in here (the Orb) because Chloe used to mess around with me (inaudible), without her I was just naughty.
I got excluded from school because I was naughty and I never used to listen to any of the teachers and I used to mess around with Jess and it got that bad that I got excluded and then sent to the Orb.
The Orb is a place where people go if they have a chance to make it work. I hope I can make it work in the future so I can have a happy life.
Having a best friend living next door to is good because there’s someone to rely on when you’re down. My life without Jess would be so depressing, I wouldn’t know who to turn to. She’s always there when I need someone like when I have family problems and I just need a shoulder to cry on.
We have our ups and downs, but you always get through it because that’s what friends are for.
Jess has ADHD and I know how it feels because my little brother has it and it’s not a nice thing to have.
In twenty years time I can see me and Chloe still being friends cos of how close we are now. Hopefully we’ll be doing our dream jobs and having a great life.
The only thing that’s stopping me from doing what I want to do in the future is me and my mind. I should be a better person and just think of the future and think what I can do.
