I moved with my partner to the UK two years ago. My first year I was living in Cardiff in Wales - a beautiful city!!! I was working for the British Heart Foundation and I went to English classes.
When my partner finished his degree in Cardiff we decided to moved to Bristol because it’s bigger than Cardiff and there are more companies and more job opportunities. “Oh my God. Another change!”, I thought.
And we did it. We found a flat , here. We got lost in Bristol.
A new neighbourhood. NEW, NEW… Everything was new!
But the most important thing was that we were enthusiastic and we had a lot of energy for discovering Bristol.
My partner found a job more easily and so did I. I started my English classes as well.
We started to have new friends, new classmates, new workmates…
We are uncovering the hidden life of Bristol: for instance the exciting night-life, There are a lot of places, different places!! We are here! I feel happy in Bristol! It’s a new place for us and we are uncovering it step by step.
