"Wingwalkers is a multimedia installation with corresponding website. The installation is centred around the theme of the aeroplane. It aims to make visible the plane's ambivilent and contradictory meanings and invite the viewer to reflect on their own relationship to it. To do so it is based around 3 icons: the wingwalker, the flight attendant and the aeroplane itself. We will be producing the visual and 3D elements of the installation but inviting people to contribute text/sound." Michelle Henning and Rebecca Goddard, Oct 1997.
