There was a new opportunity advertised far and wide in the land. And there were two people – lets call them Jo and Sarah – who had an idea for a project that just seemed to fit. But the project was far to big for them to do on their own though. They needed other people with skills and experience that they just didn’t have. So they were brave (maybe more brave than they’d ever been before in their careers) and they got in contact with a great big arts organisation – lets call it the Shed by the Water – and had a chat.
Now that Shed by the Water had already seen the opportunity and decide it wasn’t for them – there wasn’t much time and they had loads of other stuff to do, so they had decided to let it flow past. Then Jo and Sarah contacted them and told them about the idea. And the Shed by the Water liked the idea. And the Shed by the Water went back and looked at their time and their resources and all manner of stuff like that – and basically said oh go on then.
And they contacted a rather nice man called John who was very good at all the things that Jo and Sarah didn’t know anything about, and he thought it was a good idea too, and then they all spoke to some artists – who were the very reason behind the original idea – and they seemed to like it as well.
And so a rather unique new partnership was formed, an application was submitted, it was found to be successful and guess what – PUSH ME was born!
