Rife Writers’ Room, 3rd December
Come along to our first ever drop-in space for young writers. Just bring yourself and some ideas.
If you’re aged 16-24, Rife’s Writers’ Room is a pop-up space for you to stop by and work on whatever you’re writing alongside some other young writers.
4-6pm, Monday 3rd December
Junction 3 Library, Easton
You could be a YouTuber writing your next script, film critic scribbling your first review, budding novelist completing your trilogy, spoken word poet nailing down some syllables, event promoter wondering what should go on their next flyer… basically, you’re someone who wants some time and space to express yourself through writing with some other people are doing the same.
You can work on whatever you like at Rife Writers’ Room – our aim is to create a bit of a young Bristol writing community in a laidback, no-pressure atmosphere that gives you space to think, plan, chat and write. Writing can be a lonely thing, so sometimes it’s nice to have some fellow writers to bounce ideas off.
It’ll be led by Sammy, the written content editor at Rife, who’ll be on hand to chat writing and have a look at your stuff (but only if you want her to!).
You don’t have to do anything to sign up. Just drop by any time between 4-6pm on Monday, 3rd December at Junction 3 Library, Easton. It’s free, and there will be biscuits. JSYK.
Have a look at our lush poster made by Heather Colbert, one of our 24 under 24 below. Hope to see you there!
