Fardusi Jahan
Fardusi is a 16-year-old aspiring journalist who spends most of her time having her eyes glued to a book. When she’s not buried nose deep in reading, you’ll find her writing in a journal of anything and everything that pops into her mind; a book quote, a joke she was told, even reviews of the tea she had just drank. She hopes to write for a magazine one day that will amplify her thoughts and feelings on social issues such as mental health awareness and racism in the media as she feels they are not talked about as openly. She did her GSCE Textiles final exam piece on racism against black people in the media, where it was displayed in Bristol Cathedral during its art exhibition in June 2017.
Despite reading and writing being her main interests, she is obsessed with TV shows which can range from drama to comedy: her all-time favourite show being ‘Grey’s Anatomy’.
