After deciding not to go to university to instead get any job she could, Jodie didn’t feel too happy with where her life was going.

She got back on the right track in 2015 when she completed an apprenticeship in a contemporary arts centre. While constantly being surrounded by creative and inspiring people, she was inspired herself to kick-start a career in writing, and where better to go than Bristol? So in September she packed up and moved from a small, sleepy village to the bright lights of the city.

In her free time, she likes to read about ancient history, people watch and research historic events obsessively (the current fixation is the Titanic, the previous was animals being sent to space).
