Established soulstress Beyoncé and Oscar®-winning newcomer Jennifer Hudson fight it out for lead vocals in this all-star diva-thon based on the award-winning Broadway musical of the same name.

Taking us back to the turbulent 1960s and 70s through the eyes of one Detroit R&B girl group The Dreamettes (a riff on The Supremes), singers Effie (Hudson), Lorrell (Anika Noni Rose), and Deena (Beyoncé) are discovered at a talent competition by slippery car salesman-turned-music manager (Jamie Foxx) who offers them their big break. However, they soon realise that the cost of fame and fortune may be higher than they ever imagined.

You've seen the dream - now experience the reality! After the film, join us in the Café/Bar from 22:45 until late for Soul Sister No.1, a celebration of female stardom from Aretha to Beyoncé and everyone in between.
