The first documentary to explore the complex and revolutionary music of glam rock pioneer Marc Bolan and T. Rex, from director Ethan Silverman.
Using archival performances, interviews with the likes of Elton John and Ringo Starr, Angelheaded Hipster is a celebration of the life and work of Bolan, combined with a behind-the-scenes look at the tribute album of the same name.
Silverman was involved in both the creation of this documentary and the 2020 tribute album of the same name, providing him intimate access, both to those who knew Bolan best and to the musicians who were profoundly impacted by his work.
