Bob Dylan is captured on-screen as he never would be again in this groundbreaking film from D. A. Pennebaker, which became the definitive rock documentary, setting the template for future forays in the genre.
The now legendary documentarian D.A.Pennebaker accompanied Dylan on his 1964 acoustic tour of the UK capturing the playfully confrontational folk musician as he and his entourage - including Joan Baez - cross the country towards an atmospheric climax at the Royal Albert Hall.
The playfulness sees Dylan musically sparring with “British Dylan” Donovan and indeed anyone he encounters, including the press who expect all the answers from “the voice of a generation”.
