Join us for a wild evening of Sailor Jerry tastings and laughter plus a special screening of Hori Smoku Sailor Jerry - a documentary about tattoo artist Norman Collins, the inspiration behind this ever popular tipple.

Sailor Jerry, the rum, uses spices to give it the distinct character, smoothness and versatility that those who’ve tired it, will know and love. For decades they have been educating bartenders and consumers alike in the gospel of Norman ‘Sailor Jerry’ Collins, and tonight they’ll be creating some badass rum concoctions for you to try and to help his legacy live on.

Sailor Jerry, the man, was born Norman Collins, but chose to define himself on his own terms. He wasn’t born to live a middle of the road life and he knew it. He went on to become one of the most important tattoo artists of the 20th Century, his work symbolising the masculine ethos of those men enlisted to fight in WWII. An intelligent, dark-humoured prankster with a fiercely independent mind, following the tasting session we’ll be screening a documentary exploring the wild life of this influential, and under-recognised, pioneer of American folk art.
