Food and drink... two things very close to the heart of just about everybody and here at Watershed we’re no different. In fact, we've a real passion for them. Just like everything we do here our approach is to work together with our partners, our customers and our suppliers both old and new and we couldn’t do what we do without those partnerships. So with some of our partners in August we are delighted to present a week of events dedicated to food and drink - guaranteed you will find something here to whet your appetite.
For those who enjoy the occasional tipple our Meet the Maison champagne tasting event (Wed 9 Aug 19:30) and/or our Sailor Jerry rum taster - along with a documentary screening (Thu 10 Aug 19:30) - will be right up your street.
If you are more of a foody then come and experience some of the best East African flavours and a great atmosphere courtesy of Matatu Kitchen (Fri 11 Aug 19:00) at their pop-up restaurant in the Café/Bar; and/or join Carib-Asian duo Sherrie and Pat Eugene-Hart who’ll be sharing their recipes and rhymes (Sat 12 Aug 12:30) in an East-meets-West cultural culinary adventure that will take you on a journey from the Indian sub-continent to the Caribbean with explosive, mouth-watering results. Perhaps you'd like to join chef and visual artist Jasmine Creusson at FOUR (Mon 7 Aug 19:00) - an immersive dining event which combines installation, projection mapping, live performance and storytelling.
This week see's the launch of our new summer menu and to celebrate we're extending our usual 30% discount offer on Tuesdays– Cinébites – across the whole menu so join us to sample anything you fancy on the new menu. The culmination of our week long food and drink focus is on Sat 8 Aug when we’ll be ‘tearing up the menu’ and offering an evening of dishes that can be either paired with or inspired by the humble apple in celebration of that staple of West Country life – cider.
There’s something for everyone throughout the week so come wet your whistles and tickle your taste buds in our big celebration of all things food and drink.
