Take one location in the city. How would you culturally and creatively represent Bristol? This workshop introduces the Creative Europe project Future DiverCities and the Divercities app, a free mobile app aiming to stimulate discovery about the city through cultural recommendations. Content is created by citizens for citizens, encapsulating Bristol’s fiercely creative heart in a series of content locations called ‘capsules’. Led by Superact, the workshop will introduce participants to creating their own ‘capsules’ and share creative cultural landmarks from their city. From street art to statue, is there a creative or cultural landmark that symbolises your city? How can this be represented through existing digital content? How can this stimulate curiosity and enable discovery?
