iShed's Pervasive Media Ideas lab took place last week attracting a crowd of 85 people drawn from industry, academia and the Creative Industries. The day was been designed with Ed Mitchell, to both generate and shape ideas for Media Sandbox and support the growing community around pervasive media in the South West.

Media Sandbox launched with a collaborative workshop-based event aimed at individuals, companies and organisations interested in exploring the emerging area of Pervasive Media. Its aim was to introduce and explore the possibilities, develop a community of interest and generate and develop pilot ideas for Media Sandbox.

We are pleased to announce that HP Labs and Ubiquisys have both expressed interest in collaborating on Media Sandbox proposals. Both will attend the Ideas Lab on 29th November and will be available for discussion on possible ideas for proposals.
