Now part of Pias, Indie Mobile was a leading mobile marketing and digital distribution agency allowing Independent record labels to sell their music and video to mobile handsets worldwide. Before joining Pias, Indie Mobile worked on campaigns for amongst others, Franz Ferdinand, Freemasons and Dizzee Rascal.

The Generator

The Generator is a cross-media promotion tool for musicians and record labels. It utilises social interest around short-form anonymous communications (such as sms, msn, twitter), to create compelling and humorous campaigns.

The music industry has been greatly affected by the explosion of online and social media. In a time when people are overwhelmed with content, making yourself heard is becoming ever more important. The Generator is a new distribution model evolved from this climate. With bespoke brand friendly messaging and affiliation with specific artists, it will be a powerful campaign tool.

Progress so far

Now you all know what we are about to embark on I shall fill you in on the progress so far… These first three weeks have been dedicated to scoping the full requirements of the project. This includes the creative brief, the technical requirements, the must haves and the wish list. We have just finished this process and are about to start the search for a suitable technical partner to develop the application, which will form part of the dedicated team building. Everything is looking great so far! Come back next week for the latest update of our news.
