Bristol’s Best Christmas Lights
The weather outside is frightful but the Christmas lights are so delightful – Jess Connett goes on the hunt for Bristol’s best decorations to get us feeling festive.
Ahh, Christmas time. The doors on advent calendars are opening, the presents under the tree are piling up, and the decorations have all been thoroughly dusted off. Those miserable and dark November nights seem a million miles away as we roll into December with a host of twinkling lights on strings to brighten us up. From ice skating under a glowing castle to evening shopping in the markets, or just a walk home after dark (aka 4pm), here’s a look at some of the best Christmas lights spotted by Bristolians.
The Mall, Cribbs Causeway
The fountain has been tinselled, and the incredible Disney princess ice rink is better than ever.
Clifton Village
Home of the posh, you’d expect the lights in Clifton to be special – and this year they don’t disappoint.
Bedminster
Bedminster has gone way left-field this year, with Christmassy projections and even some Santa graffiti.
Broadmead
The Christmas Markets are back this year, accompanied by a giant snow globe and some stunning decorations.
