We’re so pleased to launch this short video about Film Hub South West, created by the inspired Bristol based Siddiqui Media, and featuring a few of the incredible filmmakers and film exhibitioners in our community.
With a network of over 200 exhibitors as part of the UK wide BFI Film Audience Network, Film Hub South West, led by Watershed, has been supporting film exhibitors to bring more films to more people across the region since 2012. We are also home to BFI Film Academy which creates opportunities for emerging talent in the screen industry and BFI NETWORK which has been providing access to funding and industry-backed professional development to producers, writers and directors aged 18 and above since 2018.
We wanted to create something that truly celebrates the people and initiatives coming out of the work we do and hopefully demystifies the ways in which we can support filmmakers and film exhibitors at a regional level.
