It’s Saturday and 9-year-old Grace is spending the evening with her father, Joe, in the wake of her parents’ separation. Stranded in a leisure-time landscape of bowling alleys, retail parks and takeaways, they attempt to negotiate the changes in their relationship. Grace wrestles with the altered reality of family life–the confusion and loneliness it brings. Joe struggles to reconcile himself to an uncertain future, struggles with money, struggles with Grace.
