BFI FAN Green Hour: IGNITE LOCAL CLIMATE ACTION!

17 June 2025 | 12:00-13:00 | Online

Want to deepen the impact of your programming? To move beyond general narratives of climate action towards the issues that really impact your audiences and communities? Discover how film can spark real-world collaboration and embedded action in your community.

T A P E Collective – Their ‘Free to Forage’ project blends cinema with urban foraging workshops, working with their audiences to connect with nature and social justice, for thoughtful community engagement and meaningful action.

Curzon Cinema & Sustainable Clevedon – Learn about what happens when a cinema teams up with their local climate group for a 2 day festival that unites film, action and community organising. Green Shift festival is a rooted, collaborative project between a venue and local activists.

This session will spark conversations on how we:

  • Convert audiences into environmental champions
  • Connect with the climate movement in your community
  • Design programming that drives tangible change.
