Are you a writer with a great idea for a feature film that you don’t yet have a script for? We’re pleased to invite you to this insightful discussion and Q&A with one of our BFI NETWORK-supported writers from the south west, Mojola Akinyemi. Mojola was awarded a grant in 2024-25 to develop her speculative-fiction project Bloodstock, a prescient and compelling story that was also chosen for further funding to take it to first-draft script. Join us at this online event, hosted by BFI NETWORK South West, to find out what to expect as a writer awarded BFI funding, what it takes to develop an idea into a stand-out treatment doc, how to work successfully with a script editor, and what happens next. There will be time at the end for your questions.
