BFI NETWORK South West are pleased to present this film marketing masterclass from Film Marketing & Distribution Specialist, Jo Taylor. Jo has led on regional grassroots and outreach campaigns for films such as Loving Vincent, Moonlight & I, Daniel Blake.

Jo will be exploring different approaches to marketing your short or feature film online or via grassroots campaigns. With advice on how to build your online marketing presence, develop a brand for your film and engage with relevant communities. How to think outside the box when it comes to marketing your film and new creative methods of marketing the distribution of your film online in the context of COVID-19.

The session will be hosted online via Zoom, there will be opportunity to ask questions via the Q&A function during the panel.

Jo Taylor – Freelance Film Marketing & Distribution Specialist

Since 2008 Jo has worked in the film industry in various role with experience across a variety of cinema, film and arts marketing disciplines. She’s worked with organisations including Altitude, BFI, BIFA, eOne, Modern Films, Fox Searchlight, Thunderbird Releasing, Curzon Artificial Eye, Curzon Cinemas & Curzon Home Cinema, National Theatre Live, Tate and iFeatures. She has also worked as the Head of Social Media and Grassroots Marketing with We Are The Tonic who provide film distribution and marketing consultancy services.
