Position BFI NETWORK Talent Executive
Salary £37,000 per annum (pro rata)
Hours Part time, Part-Time (4 days per week) 32 hours a week
Contract type Fixed Term 3 year initial contract (April 2023 – March 2026)
Location In the building. Hybrid working option available (part working in the building and part remote). This post is not suitable for full remote working.

The post-holder will lead BFI NETWORK South West alongside another Talent Executive, with a focus on discovering and developing talented writers, directors, producers and other creatives from across the region at the start of their filmmaking careers.

The two Talent Executives will work collaboratively to manage the assessment of applications and the development of funded projects for short film production and the development of feature film concepts; providing editorial expertise on funded projects and supporting professional development, including progress from short films towards features. They will provide creative and related oversight of funded work to ensure the strongest possible outcomes from the support provided, and input into partnerships and outreach activity. The existing Talent Executive will lead on managing reporting, budgeting, freelancers, and the day-to-day workflow of the Talent Comms and Outreach Coordinator with input and support from this new role.
