Join BFI NETWORK South West for an exciting showcase of new short films from emerging Black British filmmakers that have been made with the support of NETWORK funding across the UK. We’re delighted to present these films in the South West, the screening will be followed by a panel discussion with the filmmakers. We have booked a space for audience members and filmmakers to socialise after the screening.

Come along to the event to learn more about the filmmakers’ creative processes and getting their work made with the support of BFI NETWORK funding for short film. This is an excellent opportunity for new and emerging filmmakers with a story to tell so come along and find out more about how BFI NETWORK can support you in getting their work made, plus an amazing opportunity to watch some exciting new work coming through from the UK.
We are also delighted to be partnering with Blak Wave Productions and MANDEM on this event. The event will be followed with an informal networking session at Watershed, where you can meet other attendees, filmmakers and partner organisations in a relaxed and friendly environment. Refreshments included in ticket price.
