    Reframing Film at Cinema Rediscovered

    Watershed

Join some of the most distinctive voices in film curation and archiving for a session on the potential of reframing film heritage at Watershed.

Some of the most distinctive voices in film curation and archiving come together to explore the potential of reframing film heritage. The day kicks off with a session exploring the role of festivals in raising the profile of lesser known films of the past and the ripple effect that can follow.

There’s also a session on Repertory Programming – all year round with guests from Glasgow Film Theatre, Hyde Park  Picture House (Leeds) and T. A. P. E. Collective followed by a Networking lunch. You can then join in our Restored & Rediscovered slate presentation to get a better sense of what is coming up and hear about release plans from UK distributors such as Park Circus, BFI distribution, Cinenova, ICO and MUBI and international sales companies such as Arbelos and Janus.

Attendees then have the option to join in one-to-one meet-ups or catch a special preview of Kinuyo Tanaka’s Forever a Woman c/o Janus Films.
