    Short Film Fund Q&A

    Online

Are you a filmmaker based in the south west of England, aged 18+, with a great idea for your next short film? Are you thinking of aplying to the BFI NETWORK Short Film Fund (SFF) this year? Join us for an online discussion to help answer any questions you might have, and help you decide if now is the right time to apply.

This highly-competitive fund supports short fiction work in live action, immersive and animation, in any genre. You must have a UK-based producer attached to your project in order to apply. Applications open Tue 11 Feb and close Tue 25 Mar.

Before attending this session please read about the fund, and the funding guidelines, on the BFI NETWORK website. If you need support with your application, or have any questions about the application form itself, please email: bfinetworkfunding@bfi.org.uk.

You can take a look at the films and talent we’ve previously supported in the region on our website here.

Please note: we won’t be able to discuss your story idea or listen to pitches about yourself or your project – this session is for general questions, advice and tips and the sharing of practical information.

We have two dates for you to choose from. Registration is free but places are limited. The Zoom link will be sent to you via your Eventbrite confirmation email (please check your junk folder!).

Register now.
