    Social Media 101

    Plymouth

Does the thought of doing Facebook ads fill you with dread? Thinking about promoting your events on Twitter and Instagram, but don’t know how to get started? Not even 100% sure what social media marketing is?..

On 27th November Film Hub South West Campaign Manager, Timon Singh, is offering a half-day workshop for Film Hub Members on how they can promote their screenings on social media in order to attract wider audiences and get more bums on seats.
Social Media 101 will be looking at the basics of social media and is aimed towards those who have limited experience or need a refresher on the main social platforms, which ones to use, when and how to reach target audiences.
Ti will talk you through using promoted posts and scheduling tools and offer key tips around formatting posts and what to include, using different content and linking up with partners.

There will also be an opportunity to get feedback on your social media presence and work through some live examples.

A light lunch will be provided and bursary support is available to cover Film Hub Member travel costs. The workshop will take place at

Ocean Conservation Trust, Rope Walk, Coxside, Plymouth, PL4 0LF.
