Stroud Film Festival: the art of balancing dreams and making bread and butter

    Stroud Valleys Artspace

Hosted by local filmmaker Eoghan McDonaugh— alongside Nadia Attia and Jess Wheeler from
BFI NETWORK South West—who will run a ‘Connect & Collab’ speed-mixer for creatives to get to know each other and spark new ideas and projects.

Ever wondered how filmmakers balance creativity with the nitty-gritty of making a living? Or how they are adapting to an industry reshaped by streaming, AI, and the lingering effects of the pandemic? Want to connect with other film professionals in the region? This is your chance to find out and get involved.

We’ll showcase four stunning short films currently making waves on the festival circuit and hear firsthand from the filmmakers and creatives who brought them to life.

Book tickets.
