Passionate repertory 35mm film exhibitors keeping the traditional film experiences alive and enabling audiences to witness a unique viewing experience in a world dominated by Digital technology.

Screening creatively important films in an area with no cinema. We screen once a month with matinee and evening performances. The Society's equipment is also made available to other local groups. Membership has maintained an annual membership of approx 400

Compass Presents creates expanded cinema experiences, shows that combine film with live elements such as dance, circus, projection mapping or live score. 

A film society converted to a part-time community cinema. Portsmouth Film Society run seasons including Black History Month, Pride LGBTQ+ Festival, Shorts::Cut Local Film Festival, Green Film Festival and Recovery Film Festival, and Sunset Outdoor cinema in the summer.

Mawnan Film Club is a local film club based at Mawnan Memorial Hall, Falmouth.
