Started 2000. International, contemporary, prize-winning films that would not be shown in the commercial cinemas in Devon. On average we show 70% foreign language films with subtitles.

Cinema At The Warehouse

The Cinema at the Warehouse is a film society, situated in the Warehouse Theatre (a former banana warehouse) in Brewery Lane, Ilminster, Somerset.

The Regal Cinema

The Regal Cinema in Fordingbridge reopened in the Summer of 2017. This beautiful Art Deco building has been transformed into its former 1930’s glory, providing a truly unique cinematic experience. In addition to the original renovated foyer entrance there is a new deluxe 30 seater auditorium with the latest technology providing an astonishing audio and visual experience. There is also a new stylish bar area serving a selection of refreshments.

Cheltenham Film Society

Cheltenham Film Society

Cheltenham Film Society was founded in 1945 and has met at various premises around Cheltenham before arriving at its current location, the Bacon Theatre at Dean Close School. Cheltenham Film Society currently has 550 members and show 18 films a year. The Society’s object is to “advance the education of the public in the knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the arts, particularly in the art of film and allied visual techniques”.

Bideford Film Society

Bideford Film Society

Bideford Cinema is run by Bideford Film Society, a not-for-profit community group of dedicated local volunteers established in 2001 when the last remaining commercial cinema in Bideford ceased operation. In March 2015 we became a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), charity number 1161007. As a cinema we present a varied and entertaining programme of current films. We remain grateful to Bideford Town Council and Bideford Bridge Trust for their financial support.

Ashburton Arts (Platform Cinema)

Asburton Arts is a community-owned and led arts centre. As part of the programme, they show films. With a mix of mostly arts orientated and of local interest: films that are not or have not been available locally - as well as locally made films.
