The time has come for Film Hub South West members to recognise the best indie cinema releases of 2025!
There’s only a month left in the year and so once again, we’re asking you for your favourite films of the year!
We’ve had everything from the return of Paul Thomas Anderson with One Battle After Another, Ari Aster’s Covid-themed Western Eddington, new films from David Cronenberg (The Shrouds), Spike Lee (Highest 2 Lowest), Bong Joon Ho (Mickey 17) and Kathryn Bigelow (House of Dynamite), Harris Dickenson’s directorial debut Urchin, the raw emotion of Jafar Panahi’s It Was Just an Accident and at least six Josh O’Connor films.
Not to mention the likes of Nickel Boys, Hard Truths, A Complete Unknown, Babygirl and The Brutalist!
Oh and K-Pop Demon Hunters.
But what were your favourites?
Let us know by Friday 28 November.
Please note: we will be sharing select quotes alongside the overall ranking on our website and social media in December.
Thanks for taking the time to fill this out and don’t be afraid to use the FDA’s website if you need a reminder!
