The venue is a central community hub for local residents, offering access to arts, culture and film for residents across the South West.

Main stream quality cinema. Family films holidays and weekends and qualty evening films. Strong emphasis on community involvement with good disabed facilities and special screenings for schools and various disabled and community groups.

Tate St Ives shows films by artists as part of its Exhibitions programme and also regularly features artist and archive film as part of its events.

The Plough Arts Centre in Great Torrington, Devon is a major arts provider across northern Devon, serving a huge, mainly rural, area & drawing audiences from across the South West.
